We are looking for a Job Coach to join our team based in Truro, Cornwall, working on the Ambitions project. Ambitions is funded through ESF with match funding from EAN (council) and Transitions funded partnership project managed by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), led by CSW Group Limited

Making it happen - your Role
We are looking to recruit a Job Coach, based from our Truro office, within our supported employment service who can engage with young people and meet the project outcomes.
You will do this by supporting them to overcome their personal barriers in a person centred way. Interventions on their journey could include confidence building, CV writing, job searching and interview skills. Pathways you could choose to support the goals of the young people could include travel training, voluntary work, work experience and job trials.
What we need from you
To be a great Job Coach, you don’t necessarily need to come from a social care background but if you have a keen interest in making a difference and engaging with people and you are patient, empathetic and a good communicator then we would like to hear from you!
You will also need good IT and self-management skills and a flexible approach. You will also have the ability to market individuals or services, have an understanding of the supported employment process and basic knowledge of social enterprises. We offer both formal and on the job training, and our national specialists are on hand to provide expert advice and support in best practice, inclusion, quality and health and safety, providing exceptional support and making a difference to people’s lives. You will be fully inducted working alongside experienced colleagues.
