There has never been a better time to join our family, in particular our Highways business where we have seen impressive growth over the last few years achieving tremendous success under the CDF Framework and Midlands Highway Alliance (MHA) amongst other local authority frameworks. Right now, we are poised for continued growth successfully retendering for the MHA strengthened with additional success on the Regional Delivery Partnership in collaboration with Highways England in the South West and the Eastern regions. We’ve secured a strong pipeline of work over the next few years and in a really strong position to capitalise further so now is the time to update that CV and come and join us, exciting times are ahead!
Our Rugby Radio scheme comprises of a 1.5 mile link road which will connect the new neighbourhood of Houlton and Rugby town centre. Connecting to an existing junction at Butlers Leap, the road will cross the canal over a new bridge and then run parallel to the canal, crossing Hillmorton Lane and on to the edge of the new Houlton development. The project includes major structural undertakings, including the building of a new canal bridge.
As Senior Engineer you will; Participate in creating a “knowingly safe” working environment. * Coordinate site engineering control activities to satisfy contract programme requirements, delegating or carrying out setting out as necessary. * Comply with company procedures, ensuring setting out is carried out correctly and understood by the site operations team. * Maintain a detailed site diary including photographic evidence where required. * Prepare orders for construction materials using contract drawings and other information. * Record and transmit data including CAD drawings and BIM Models. * Update and maintain quality records ensuring all works are undertaken in line with the Inspection Test Plans and maintaining the as built records. * Participate in planning, coordinating and maintaining current and programmed workloads.
We are looking for passion and a commitment for delivering excellence. If you have a solid experience setting out roadworks using various setting out tools such as GPS, Total stations and dumpy levels and experienced is driving engineering control on civil (ideally highway schemes) then get in touch as I want to hear from you. Obviously, you’ll have the usual good stuff such as an HNC or degree in civil engineering and valid CSCS, but we are looking for more than just that-we are looking for the right person to work safely, motivate and manage our site engineers and subcontractors on site as well as strive for exceptional levels of performance, if this is you, call me today!
