A fantastic job opportunity has opened within the central Academic Office of Study Group UK & Europe for a Registry Assistant to join on a part-time contract (22.5 hours per week). Our Academic Registry is the hub of administration related to the recording and management of definitive documentation and its publication through various media, including the archiving of information. It is a crucial central administration unit of Study Group.

Working in a team of 5, you'll have the opportunity to work across academic administration within both our International Study Centre and Bellerbys network. This is a job role that requires you to work a variety of complex administrative tasks, often to tight deadlines. So you'll need to be driven and focused with acute attention to detail. Working across our two brands you'll have the chance to work with lots of different staff across different levels meaning that communication skills and confidence are essential.

  • Maintaining and developing parts of the student records systems;
  • Exchanging information about student records with authorised divisions with Study Group and, on occasions, with partner universities.
  • Administering definitive documentation (programme specifications, for example);
  • Lead on the administrative implementation of the Student Experience Survey for the International Study Centre network;
  • Processing and administering student complaints, outcomes of disciplinary hearings and academic appeals;
  • Maintaining quality-related documentation, implementing policy decisions and managing the collection, collation and verification of a wide variety of often complex and extensive academic information & documentation to meet internal and external reporting needs and deadlines;
  • Supporting the work of the Quality team as they prepare for programme (re)approvals and Centre Review;
  • Liaising with staff to organise training days, meetings, interviews, appointments and reports;
  • University relationships and liaison – maintain an extensive data set of university contacts in consultation with Bellerbys-focused colleagues;
  • Organise and keep current a range of policies, procedures and protocols in relation to ISC network and Bellerbys College Foundation provision;


  • Experience working in a busy administrative role working on a variety of admin duties.
  • You will need to be comfortable working with Data (both qualitative and quantitative).
  • Experience working in a Further Education or Higher Education context (desirable)
  • A first degree (desirable)
