Job Summary

AECOM are looking for an experienced Admin Assistant to support the Perkins Project at their Stafford site. This role will report into the Facilities Manager. The successful candidate will have a varied workload and will be expected to be fully proficient in Microsoft Office. Any experience in procurement databases will be advantageous.

Duties:

*

Word-process correspondence and reports; proof material

*

Maintain files and records

*

Data entry

*

Coordinate meetings; schedule travel arrangements

*

Distribute, tabulate and enter time sheets and staff expenses

*

Read, screen, and route mail. Respond to routine enquiries

*

Screen and direct incoming telephone calls. Respond to routine requests for information.

*

Maintain departmental files and recurring reports.

*

This position may have responsibilities that include coordinating paperwork, conducting new hire orientations, answering employee’s questions

*

Coding supplier invoices and updating excel spreadsheets as required

*

Ad hoc administration

Minimum Requirements

*

Previous administration experience, preferably in a construction/factory/manufacturing environment

*

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

*

Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work

*

Confident in communicating with senior members of staff

*

Proactive and self-motivated, with excellent written and verbal communication skills

*

Attention to details and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications
