We now have an excellent opportunity for a Project Controls Manager to join our team based at Astley site.

The Role:

As our Project Controls Manager, you will provide a full project control function to the business, primarily working closely with project managers to ensure that all budgeting, scheduling and coordination processes run smoothly, thereby enabling the business to meet its operational and long-term objectives.

The Project Controls Manager will also ensure that projects are consistently delivered according to the company’s project control procedures by the individual project managers, using the appropriate standards for the type and scale of the project.

A key part of this role is ensuring any and all company procedures meet industry best practice and can therefore guide Project Managers in their work. You must also ensure all project data is checked and represented accurately.

Our ideal Project Controls Manager:

  • Successful track record in the delivery of project controls to cost, quality and time parameters in waste management or a related engineering field.
  • Proven experience of being able to constructively influence the outcome of a project
  • Evidence of effective project controls procedures and effective project portfolio management
  • Degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting or equivalent qualification
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational and communication skills
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Good knowledge of Primavera P6 planning software
  • Highly skilled in visualising data and designing dashboards
  • Skilled in Microsoft software including Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Word
  • Well organised and logical thinker, self-motivated with the ability to work to deadlines
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
