£16,685 - £17,775 per annum (pro rata for part time hours)

(Shifts over 7 days including sleep ins, weekends, bank holidays and some periods of lone working).

*Casual recruits will be paid at the rate of £8.00 per hour and will be required to pay £44 for their DBS certificate if they do not have an existing transferable certificate.

We are seeking to recruit Support Workers to join a team working within residential services for clients with enduring mental health problems. The service has a positive and inclusive approach, providing individual support and promoting independence. St. Anne’s is committed to person centred planning.

You will support 12 adults across 2 sites with aspects of daily living such as engaging with appointments, helping with benefits letters, supporting towards independence and liaising with healthcare professionals. You will assist with light domestic duties such as cooking, cleaning and laundry. Lone working is a feature of this role.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain or extend experience in mental health work. You will benefit from joining an experienced team and regular supervision will be provided.

Your personal qualities and skills will enable you to work effectively with people with long term support needs
You will be well motivated to work alone as well as part of a team
You will have some understanding of the issues relating to enduring mental health problems
You will be willing to provide personal care and work a flexible shift pattern
