An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Assistant to join the Marketing Team at Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
In 2018 Liverpool John Lennon Airport welcomed 5.1 Million Passengers, +3% growth versus the prior year. We launched 12 new routes and one new airline partner, Wideroe.
You’ll be working in a fast paced, but fun environment and need the drive to innovate and be able to help us explore new ways of delivering our faster, easier, friendlier message to the people of the North West.
As Marketing Assistant, you will be working as part of the Marketing Team contributing towards the effective delivery of the marketing and communications plans.
In this role you will be actively involved in the delivery of all Airline and Commercial Marketing Campaigns, on and offline. You will support the delivery of Airport Marketing Campaigns, working closely with relevant design agencies and media buyers. You will be involved in the design, production and distribution of marketing content and material to support the business. The role will require you to track and analyse the performance of all marketing activities reporting regularly to the Marketing Team as well as the wider business on data associated with the delivery of the marketing plan.
You will support the Marketing Coordinator with the management of the departmental budget and assist The Head of Marketing with key business projects such as branding and passenger experience ensuring they are delivered within timescales and on budget. You will also be required to support the Digital Marketing Executive in the management of all Airport Digital Channels including ECRM, Social Media and the company’s website. Externally, you will need to develop strong relationships to drive results with suppliers and business partners.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience of online and offline marketing and delivery of marketing plans
Experience within travel, the airport or airline industry
Educated to degree level in related field or subject ( e.g. Marketing, journalism, Media etc)
Previous usage of Adobe Creative Suite, content management systems, Google Analytics and Microsoft Office
Experience in working with Social Media and related platforms
Good communication skills
Strong team player
High attention to detail
Positive attitude to change
Ability to deliver on projects and complete in timely manner
Effective influencing skills
