NHS Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group (Somerset CCG) is looking to recruit anAdministration Apprenticefor the Primary Care Contracts team, which is part of the wider Finance, Performance and Contracting directorate.
This is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated and competent individual to join the Primary Care Contracting team. You will be supported to achieve a recognised relevant qualification as part of your apprenticeship whilst gaining valuable work experience and insight into the NHS in Somerset.
The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive and professional administrative support service which will lead to the successful management of routine demands and pressures in the team, contributing towards the overall aim of safe and effective service provision for the Somerset population.
You will deal with a range of stakeholders whilst also managing a number of competing demands. The role will be one of the key contact points for the team which you involve you responding to queries and liaising with Senior Management and colleagues across the organisation. All applicants should either be currently enrolled or have agreement to be enrolled onto a relevant business and administration course with an apprenticeship provider.
The post is based at Somerset CCG HQ - Wynford House, Lufton Way, Yeovil, Somerset, BA22 8HR. Elements of the role may require you to travel to other locations across the county of Somerset to meet the needs of the service. Access to your own transport is desirable but not essential.
This post is a full time, fixed term role of 37.5 hours per week, including college day release.
Although the post is fixed term up until the end of the apprenticeship, there may be opportunities to use the experience and exposure gained through the apprenticeship to continue working within the NHS.
