Job Description.

The Lead Business Operations Analyst will be responsible for three main areas

  • Project management and development of the existing Operations Team’s current processes and technology.
  • Provision of reports and strategic guidance to the CEO and Shareholders.
  • Coaching and mentoring of a team of highly motivated Operations Analysts.

This is a role that will suit someone who wants to be a leading figure in the success of a start-up. Someone who is naturally curious, enjoys working in a team, and has the unflappable determination to see a project through from cradle to grave.

The successful candidate must have a hands on attitude and passion for process, and will be expected to coach and manage a successful team based around the foundations of our culture - where the best ideas win, no matter who they come from.

This role would suit a current senior product manager or senior software/business/trading/data analyst type who has a desire to lead, and maximize the potential of a current group of analysts.



  • 3+ years’ experience working with teams in an agile environment.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Strong Excel Skills, knowledge of VBA and experience of coding.
  • Experience of developing and automating complex existing systems through relative programming languages and code.
  • Experience of Microsoft Power BI / Business Objects / Tableau or other data visualization program to create effective dashboards and reports.
  • Exceptional data manipulation skills.
  • Clear communication skills, ability to liaise with employees at all levels of the business.
  • Analytically minded, highly structured, process based approach to each task.
  • Logical problem solving skills.
  • Evidence to clearly prioritize and remain adaptable in a constantly changing environment.
  • Hawk eye attention to detail.
  • Team player with a strong self-motivation.
  • Infectious desire to learn and consistently improve.
  • Degree of fluency in core financial/accounting principles
Flexible approach to working hours (Shifts). Standard business coverage hours are Monday - Friday between 07:00 and 20:00.
