An exciting freelance role for an experienced Account Manager within a fast-paced promotional staffing agency. If you’ve got solid experience in handling both large and smaller detailed staffing projects in a range of formats, then this could be for you. This is great opportunity for anyone with strong management skills with a head for quality staffing solutions.

This is a freelance role starting Tuesday September 3rd, 2019 for a 15-week contract.

The Agency

With headquarters based in the heart of London, we have been established for nearly 9 years and most recently opened a USA division in 2014, with great success. As an agency we offer bespoke staffing solutions with a high volume of experience in roadshows, in-store, festivals and on-trade activations.

We pride ourselves in excellent client servicing and quality, whilst looking to grow our client base alongside expanding opportunities with existing clients. 

We work with both Brands and Agencies providing staffing solutions across the UK for top global brands to include Grolsh, Oculus, Coca-Cola, McVities, Sky, and Bacardi amongst others.

The Role

This role will be based in a fun office in Shoreditch and it’s a fantastic role for someone to step in and deliver an EU-wide staffing campaign, activating across 11 countries. You will be a key member of the team and manage a large team of direct reports in multiple territories. You will be reporting into an Account Director.

You must have the ability and willingness to travel to Europe during the contract (travel, accommodation and PDs covered).

We require an individual who is pro-active and organised who can work accurate at speed (with a positive attitude) and motivate the team to do the same.

Will require the implementation of training, detailed reporting, quality control, high-level client management and supplier management. While also able to build and develop a strong client relationship through excellent people skills and project delivery. 

Will be required to pro-actively ensure the smooth-running of the campaign (pro-active, rather than reactive!), and have the ability to look ahead to ensure success.

Speaking another language is beneficial (non-essential) 


  • Building and maintenance of strong client relationships from brief taking through to project delivery & evaluation
  • Manage the day to day relationship between the client and agency in a professional manner.
  • Create a partner, rather than a supplier relationship with clients
  • Ability to see bigger picture of a project and to provide clients with expert opinions
  • To be able to interrogate briefs, ask relevant questions and if applicable offer advise on how to improve a campaign
  • Display excellent communication skills when dealing with clients
  • Project reporting and evaluation
  • To be a confident presenter and be able to present to a client in a professional manner
  • Management and direction of campaign logistics by being able to confidently brief others
  • Tight financial management and control of campaign budgets
  • Understanding of company financial systems including mark-up, invoicing, POs etc
  • Be an expert in setting tasks and be able to confidently delegate and manage people through the project process by checking in with them throughout the project
  • To be able to manage your own time and the time of others who are working with you on a project/s
  • To be able to delegate upwards/know when you need more senior help 

Skills and experience

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and experience in interacting with clients.
  • A first-class listener and communicator, with great organizational and troubleshooting skills.
  • Commercially savvy with a strong financial acumen.
  • Experiential agency or promotional staffing agency experience at an AM level.
  • Strong account management skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent time management, numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as a team with senior stakeholders, whilst also supporting the management of junior members of the team
