An exciting freelance role for an experienced Account Director within a fast-growing promotional staffing agency. If you’ve got solid experience in handling varied and large-scale staffing projects, then this could be for you. This is great opportunity for anyone with strong client handling skills, excellent team management and a head for business development. 

This is a freelance role starting Tuesday September 3rd, 2019 for a 15-week contract.

The Agency

With headquarters based in the heart of London, we opened a USA division in 2014 with great success. Our ability to service clients on a global scale has played a key part in the growth and development of the agency, and with big visions for the company, we are looking for the right senior management to help us to continue delivering excellent work, and to support our growth and expansion.

 

We work with both Brands and Agencies providing staffing solutions, predominantly across the UK, Europe, USA but with recent development into various other markets.

As an agency we offer bespoke staffing solutions with a high volume of experience in roadshows, in-store, festivals and on-trade activations. In addition, we are currently the global retained staffing supplier for a leading- and cutting-edge VR hardware brand.

The Role

This role will be based in Shoreditch. We are looking for an Account Director who is capable of managing and delivering an EU-wide staffing campaign, activating across 11 countries. You will be the project lead and main POC for clients and orchestrator of an effective project delivery team. 

You must have the ability and willingness to travel to Europe during the contract (travel, accommodation and PDs covered).

We require an individual who is pro-active and organised who can work accurate at speed (with a positive attitude) and motivate the team to do the same.

Will require the implementation of training, detailed reporting, quality control, high-level client management and supplier management. While also able to build and develop a strong client relationship through excellent people skills and project delivery.

Will be required to pro-actively ensure the smooth-running of the campaign (pro-active, rather than reactive!), and have the ability to look ahead to ensure success.

Speaking another language is beneficial (non-essential) 

Responsibilities

  • To grow the existing client base by identifying and seizing opportunities organically or through new areas of the existing business relationships.
  • Interrogate client briefs, understand insight, advise on improvement for a campaign utilizing staffing experience and drive excellent delivery.
  • Direct the relationship between the client and agency at senior level.
  • Lead a team, take ownership and direct others as needed to provide the utmost level of client services.
  • Working with new business development teams to generate new accounts.
  • Responding to RFP’s providing innovative propositions and coordinating a high level response.
  • Confidently manage company development tasks, including writing PR articles, case studies and blog entries
  • Show a good understanding of the business environment, your account portfolio and know what makes a ‘good decision’ from a commercial point of view.
  • To grow a strong client services and staff booking team.
  • To provide a fun, stimulating and nurturing working environment to help junior team members realise their full potential. 

Skills and experience

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and experience in interacting with senior stakeholders.
  • A first class listener and communicator, with a willingness to confront issues and make decisions.
  • Commercially savvy with a strong financial acumen.
  • Experiential agency or promotional staffing agency experience at an AD level.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent time management, numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as a team with senior stakeholders.
