Book keeper and Office Administrator

We are a software company based in Motherwell.

We currently require a book keeper to handle all our invoicing and expenses paper work as well as general administration. The book keeper will work in conjunction with our Accountant. The job can be part time or full time and can be flexible hours to suit the candidate.

Main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Credit control

• Payroll

• General administration duties

• Accounts payable

• Accounts receivable

• Maintaining ledger accounts

• Bank reconciliations

• Cashflow

• Producing financial reports

• Employee expenses

• Petty cash

To be considered for this position, candidates must have the following skills and background:

• Previous experience of working in a similar Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant/Assistant Accountant position

• Experience processing payroll is essential

• Credit control experience is desirable but not essential

• Able to work on your own initiative, unsupervised and unsupervised and meet deadlines
