What we are looking for:
We are looking for bright, enthusiastic individuals with an interest in medical communications to join our medical writing team. The role will involve the planning and writing of a wide range of market access materials and journal articles in collaboration with in-house teams of specialists.
Other duties will include:
You will have a degree in a relevant scientific subject (a PhD is desirable but is not essential), and excellent writing and proofreading skills. Prior experience as a medical writer in a similar medical communications setting would be highly beneficial.
The role requires good communication and organisational skills and attention to detail. You must also have the ability to understand clinical data and to comprehend new therapeutic areas quickly and effectively. Some background knowledge of healthcare systems and clinical trials would be an advantage. You must be proficient with Microsoft Word and be able to use Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel. An understanding of bibliography databases, such as EndNote, would also be desirable.
