An exciting opportunity for an experienced Office Manager/PA to join a successful business on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. The role is working full time Monday-Friday 08:30am-17:00pm paying a competitive salary of £25-27k. The company offer an array of benefits such as annual bonus, free parking, excellent pension, company days out and many more.

This is a varied, fast paced role and requires you to provide both office and HR support to around 60 office based staff and 65 off site staff. You will be working alongside the Managing Director providing full PA support as well as providing support to other Directors and Heads of Department as required.

What you will need:

  • PA/Office management experience
  • HR/Personnel experience (preferable)
  • Payroll experience

What you will be doing:

Dealing with all aspects of Personnel and HR within the office including:

  • First point of contact for all staff regarding HR issues
  • Recruitment advertising
  • Interviews and related correspondence
  • Offer letters and on-boarding
  • Inductions
  • Probationary interviews / correspondence
  • Changes to HR records - changes of address, bank details, etc
  • Monitoring and recording sickness absence and related correspondence
  • Recording and monitoring annual leave
  • Disciplinary and dismissal procedures and related correspondence
  • Redundancy procedures and related correspondence
  • Company leavers and related correspondence.

Collating all monthly salary information to send to Salaries Department for payment including:

  • All day to day HR information (changes to bank details, addresses, etc)
  • Commission information
  • Overtime schedules including authorisation
  • Sickness absence
  • New starters
  • Leavers
  • Bonuses
  • Salary increases

Overseeing the general day to day running of the office, including:

  • Reception cover
  • Postal arrangements
  • Updating internal telephone directories
  • General admin duties
  • Ensuring Health & Safety of the office
  • Daily review of MD's emails
  • Creating, collating and distribution of Management Meeting packs for bi-monthly Management Meetings

Advantageous:

  • Experience in construction/new homes

This is a 12 month fixed term contract, with the possibility for this to be extended or made permanent.
