Our client is an importer, exporter and processor of quality textile fibres.
They now have an opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk / Accounts Assistant to join their team in Bradford.
Your role will be to provide an efficient, responsive and high-quality service to managers and employees across the business. You will be responsible for accurately producing and redirecting the required documentation for the deep sea importation and exportation of their synthetic fibres. You will ensure that their stock list is continuously kept up to date via Excel and you will process all invoices via SAGE. Other general purchase / sales ledger duties, including VAT returns and payroll will form part of this key role.
They are looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, combined with strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
You will have knowledge and experience with SAGE accounts and payroll along will good skills in Excel and Word. Experience and / or knowledge of deep-sea shipping would be an advantage however not essential as full training will be provided.
