This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of Torus South Area Housing Team providing administrative support to the Area Housing Manager and local housing team.
This is an important role in which you will:
Working as part of a team the Housing Officer will deliver a whole range of housing services to Torus tenants, leaseholders and customers, dealing with enquiries and offering advice on all aspects of housing management.
Experience and knowledge of tenancy management and dealing with the key changes that occur throughout the life of a tenancy is essential.

The Housing Officers role will also include dealing with neighbour disputes, tackling anti-social behaviour and requires a sound understanding of tenancy enforcement to competently manage various breaches of tenancy.
The Housing Officer will be expected to work in partnership with the City Council, Ward Members, other housing providers, tenants associations and a range of external partners to support individual tenants and to improve outcomes for tenants within the wider neighbourhood.
Participating in a range of initiatives including Impact Days, promoting rent first, attending partnership working groups and neighbourhood meetings.
The role demands excellent communication skills and an ability to deal with customers delivering excellent standards of customer care.
Working in a challenging but exciting environment the post holder will need an ability to organise and prioritise workloads along with problem solving skills.
