This is an exciting secondment/fixed term opportunity (to 31stMay 2020) which has arisen due to an internal secondment within the Finance Team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic part (or fully) AAT Qualified Accountant to join the team within Finance which is responsible for monitoring the CCG’s Contracting expenditure. [Fully AAT Qualified would be appointed as a Band 5].

You will be involved in monitoring the Sheffield Children’s Hospital contract; developing a new system for the monthly reporting of Non Contracted Activity and designing and implementing a reporting process for Overseas Visitors expenditure. You can also expect to be involved in contract trends and variance analysis..

This is a temporary role for the period to the end of May but there is scope for the right candidate to help determine how the department works beyond this point. The post holder will need to be flexible as we define and refine the detailed content of the role .

You will be a ‘self-starter’, well organised and adept at managing conflicting priorities to set deadlines. Good Microsoft Excel skills are essential and knowledge of the Oracle IFSE general ledger system would be beneficial.
