Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside an average sized Primary school to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced SEN teaching assistant/behaviour mentor to work with students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The role is on a full time basis and is to start in September.
The ‘good’ graded Primary School has a very good reputation, as well as a good levels of behaviour. The students achieve well and are very eager to learn. There is a reward system which promotes good behaviour and the school needs great supply staff in order to maintain the behaviour of the students.
The school is looking for a Special Needs teaching assistant who is going to bring optimism and a positive attitude. The right applicant will have experience working with SEN students and students with challenging behaviour. The school also uses Team Teach, so this qualification would also be an advantage. The SEN Teaching assistant will work on a full time basis, working with small groups of students or on a 1-1 basis in classes, across both key stages.
