Transport and Security Administrator - REF: SC3679£17,682 to £19,133 per annum
The Transport and Security Division are looking to hire an effective Transport and Security Administrator. The ideal candidate will have experience of dealing with sensitive and challenging enquiries. They will be able to respond effectively with conflicting priorities and understand the ethos of the University’s Travel plan.
The postholder will deliver a highly professional and efficient administration function to the Transport and Security departments within the Estate and Facilities Division. The role involves, amongst other duties; dealing with confidential information; assisting with transport and parking issues; undertaking enquires in person, by phone or by email; processing charges for services and handling cash; be knowledgeable in GDPR legislation; minute taking at meetings and on occasions, support other areas within the Division.
The successful applicant should be educated to GCSE level at Grade C or above in English and Mathematics (or equivalent qualification or experience in a comparable role) and have experience of working in a customer focused environment. Strong IT skills is a must for this role, along with an ability to think and act quickly, have attention to detail and the confidence to work in a demanding environment. There will be the occasional requirement to work out of hours.
