About the role:
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of your sites, delivering the planned maintenance program, responding to operational events and delivering excellent customer service. In this role you will also need to develop a strong working relationship with the maintenance projects team, network teams, key contractors and other stakeholders. You will be required to:
To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:
- Manage a total of 11 technicians made up of Mechanical, Tech 1’s, Electrical & ICA technicians.
- Be responsible for driving continuous improvement – most notably in Health and Safety.
- Meet operational, maintenance and customer driven targets.
- Conduct regular workplace audits on safety and quality of work, developing and driving team engagement.
Are you experienced in leading a team of Field-based, Operational staff? Do you have a passion for improving Health & Safety?
We are looking for someone with a proven record of achieving results through managing others and can deal with periods of increased activity. A good working knowledge of health and safety legislation is essential as well as knowledge of drainage systems and an appreciation of electrical & mechanical principal. You will be competent in IT & internal systems and can interpret and manipulate complex Excel spreadsheets.
Due to the nature of this role you will need to have a full valid driving licence and be able to work in confined spaces.
A practical working knowledge of waste water networks would be highly beneficial, allowing you to provide not only leadership to your team, but technical mentoring as well.What’s in it for you:
