Care workers are required for ongoing work, working at a variety of nursing, residential and learning disabilities care homes. We need flexible individuals who can think on their feet and have relevant experience. You will be offered the prospect of working varied shifts, including night and weekend work. However, for the purpose of registration you will be expected to commit to a minimum of 3 shifts per week and be available at times on short notice. We currently have a range of client groups who offer both full and part-time flexible hours, with opportunities to become part of a regular rota.

* Minimum of 6 months UK based care experience within the last 5 years within a care home environment. * You must have good communication skills. * An enhanced DBS on update service is desirable but is not essential as we can help you acquire this. * Up to date Mandatory Training. * An understanding of Care Quality Commission standards. * Your own method of transport is desirable but not essential. * **Understanding ** and **knowledge ** of issues faced by service users. * **Creative ** approach to **empowering ** service users to achieve their goals. * **Commitment ** to **care** and well-being of service users.
**Duties to include:**
* Personal care. * Feeding / ensuring dietary requirements are met. * Inclusion in social activities. * General housekeeping.
