As a member of the Overnight team, you will be responsible for carrying out designated tasks overnight with the key aim of ensuring Wetherspoon standards of practice and cleanliness are upheld.
Main duties and responsibilities
-Work in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS) at all times.
-To ensure in working overnight you take the appropriate rest break/s in line with legislation and at the agreed time where directed.
-Adhere to the Company`s employee appearance standards at all times when on duty, including ensuring correct PPE is worn when required.
-Clean the bar, kitchen, cellar, toilets, front and back of house areas in accordance with Company guidelines.
-Provide excellent standards of cleanliness at all times with the key aim of ensuring Wetherspoon standards of practice and cleanliness are upheld during non-trading hours or trading hours if there is any overlap.
-Maintain the highest consistent standards of CQSMA on the shift and achieve the Company`s expected standards or above.
-Ensure that the opening and closing procedures are adhered to in line with Company policy at all times. .
-Assist in preparation for the following day`s trade where required eg kitchen preparation, taking in deliveries
-Adhere to Company security procedures at all times and comply with security checks where required.
-Be aware of and adhere to all Legislation and Company policies in the areas of: Licensing, Trading Standards, Customs and Excise, Food Hygiene and Health & Safety, Fire Safety, COSHH, Accident and Incident reporting and other legislation to ensure safety on the premises and a 5* Food Hygiene Rating is supported.
-Carry out any reasonable instruction given by the supervisor and any member of the Pub Management team or any Wethercentre Manager, including carrying out other or additional duties you are asked to do to meet the needs or requirements of the business.
-Maintain continuous development by attending all relevant training courses and completing all eLearning, workbooks, projects, on the job training and workshops as required.
-Any other reasonable tasks or duties that need to be and can be completed during the course of your duties.
