Apprenticeship Development Coach / Work Based Assessor
Our client is a leading apprenticeship organisation looking for an Apprenticeship Development Coach to join their busy and growing team.
The Apprenticeship Development Coach will act as an Apprentice Advisor to learners undertaking Technical Sales and Business Data Analyst apprenticeship programmes. Therefore, relevant work experience in these fields is required. Additionally, experience in the Cyber security apprenticeship standard would be beneficial.
The Apprenticeship Development Coach will work with apprentices to enable them to meet the requirements of their standard and or relevant qualifications. To do this, the Apprenticeship Development Coach must: plan the assessment of occupational competence using a variety of assessment methods; make assessment decisions about occupational competence; maintain legal and good practice requirements when assessing occupational competence; ensure that the quality assurance of the assessment process is conducted in order to maintain positive External Quality Assurance (EQA)/End Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO) feedback; and ensure that learner action planning and review processes are conducted in a timely fashion and in a quality manner.
The Apprenticeship Development Coach will ideally hold a relevant work based assessor qualification and must be IT literate, have excellent time management skills and be a confident and competent communicator.
The Apprenticeship Development Coach will be home based with frequent travel to client sites across the UK. As such, a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle suitable and insured for business use is required.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a similar Apprentice Advisor, Work Based Assessor or Workplace Learning Consultant position for an apprenticeship organisation.
