Position: Full-time, permanent

Salary: £14,976 - £19,110 per year (Negotiable dependant on experience)

Location: Glasgow

Hours: Monday – Friday (Early Friday Finish)

About us:

B-DACS Ltd is a small family run business. We Install and maintain air conditioning systems for contractors as well as end user clients across a variety of sectors within Central Scotland. We are currently looking to recruit a Maintenance Co-ordinator who can support our Maintenance Department. The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a reactive working environment.

Maintenance Co-ordinator:

The role of Maintenance Co-ordinator is to support and assist the Maintenance Operations Manager and Senior Maintenance Engineers with the day to day co-ordination of running a very demanding and reactive Maintenance Department. This role is ideally suited to an organised professional individual, with excellent planning and communication skills. The successful candidate will report directly to the Maintenance Operations Manager.

Main responsibilities:

  • Direct support to Maintenance Operations Manager
  • Resource and manage diaries for a team of engineers, planning preventative maintenance and repairs works
  • Resource and prioritise reactive works, keeping in line with our company service level agreements and communicating these changes promptly to all stakeholders
  • Answering incoming telephone calls
  • Liaising with customers to assist on maintenance contract set up
  • Preparing and uploading job sheets on our Customer Relationship Management database
  • Reviewing job sheets, taking actions and forwarding onto customers
  • Liaising with the Senior Maintenance Engineers to highlight repairs needed and managing repairs process
  • Following up on quotations, ordering parts and scheduling repairs
  • Setting up new customer accounts
  • Dealing with customer enquiries
  • Preparing paperwork and applying for permits ahead of jobs

Skills & Experience Required:

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate: -

  • Able to demonstrate the delivery of outstanding customer service
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Proficient in using Work, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
  • Ability to build and maintain good working relationships with customers
  • Commercial awareness
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Pleasant telephone manner
  • Good interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confident in managing change and pro-active with problem solving
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Able to carry out verbal and written instructions to a high standard
  • Able to work on own initiative without supervision
  • Able to work as part of a team

Desirable:

  • Experience in planning and resourcing
  • Experience in managing a Customer Relationship Management System
