We currently seek a Regional Support Manager to help drive transformation, business improvements and new ways of working throughout the South West region, which contribute to both development and support to the branch network as a footprint to deliver a robust sales focused organisation. You will, at times, deputise for the Regional Manager and provide leadership, support, empowerment and development of Branch Managers to help drive their sales and profitability across the region.
What does the role involve?
As Regional Support Manager, you will be help the Regional Manager drive sales and profitability across the region; overseeing the Branch Managers and their performance in delivering the agreed Sales and Margin targets and support on pricing compliance. You will support and coach Branch Managers in leading their teams and provide a culture of best practice.
Through chairmanship of the Regional Performance Reviews, you will monitor supply chain operations, drive Project Charter Performance and collaboratively identify areas of improvements and actions to ensure that sales and operations provide the required service levels. In addition, you will oversee the operational efficiency of the branches, overseeing full compliance with our 'Zero Harm' H&S policy and ensure a strong focus on customer service.
You will have proven experience in leadership and delivering sales with the ability to forge strong working relationships with all stakeholders. You will be commercially aware, be a confident decision maker, effective communicator and be able to manage your time effectively. You will work ethically, promote positively a team environment and be an effective sales negotiator.
The role is a field based role with regional travel.
