Salary: Band 4 £21,089 - £23,761 pa (dependent on experience)

Location: SHSC Fulwood House S10 3TH

Hours: 37.5hrs (to start on the 25th November 2019, covering Maternity Leave for 9 months)

Following a recent reconfiguration of services within the Trust, the Clinical Operations Directorate now manages all clinical services with the exception of GP services provided by The Clover Group. The Clinical Operations Directorate comprises 2 Care Networks and Patient Safety and Clinical Leadership functions. This post is part of wider business support/administrative structure that supports the leadership and management of the Clinical Operations Directorate, and enables it to function as effectively and efficiently as possible.

The role of PA & Admin Co-ordinator will be responsible for the provision of a high quality and dedicated administration service to the whole Clinical Directorate Management Team.

A key requirement of the job is to help the Senior PA & Admin Manager organise workload within the Clinical Directorate Support Team and co-ordinate activities to ensure that an efficient service is provided. The post holder will be expected to monitor and assess workload amongst the team, including being able to identify and step-in to fill gaps, to ensure continuity of services. It is essential that the post holder is able to exercise initiative suitable to the role and is fully supportive to other colleagues in the administrative team.

Duties will include diary management; attendance and support for meetings; audio/copy typing; use of full Microsoft Office suite and the Insight patient record system and communication with internal and external professionals and service users/carers. The post holder will be responsible for daily workload management, supervision and appraisal of junior staff to support the overall function of the admin team.
