About the role

In this role your key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the Portfolio Governance team and provide appropriate support to the Change team
  • Ensure procedures and standards are in place to meet compliance with policies and the standards of governance required from the Executive
  • Ensure governance is relevant, focused and that an appropriate toolset is in place to minimise the amount of time/cost required in its execution
  • Manage monthly reporting cycle, providing Exec and management input that is accurate and timely
  • Liaise with other business units and central functions, where relevant
  • Chair relevant meetings which fall under the Governance remit
  • Support programme and project managers, as required
  • Assist direct reports in their management, support and mentoring of their teams
  • Plan and prepare Technology and Change Executive and management meetings and subsequent outputs and actions; including meeting bookings, agenda preparation, information packs, minutes and action progression
  • Provide oversight of recruitment into the Change (and IT Delivery?) team(s)
  • Support the Technology and Change Governance Manager with activities such as cost centre management, RCSA maintenance, risk reporting
  • Support the other Technology and Change managers, undertaking ad-hoc assignments as required.
  • Ensure the services provided by the Change team are delivered in accordance with Quilter values.
About you

We are looking for an individual with the following skills and experiences:

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skill
  • Ability to successfully manage teams
  • Ability to engage with individuals at all levels
  • Understanding of Programme Governance and its relevance and benefit to an organisation
  • Ability to define and implement best practise
  • Ability to mentor team members
  • Understanding of finances and budgeting
  • Proven understanding of portfolio governance
  • Proven ability to engage successfully with senior management and third parties
  • Professional PM or PMO qualification is desirable but not essential
