Resulting from growth in Pfizer's Digital and Technology space, we are seeking a Global Digital Marketing Team Lead. This role will report to the Global Head of Digital Marketing and Digital Health Centre of Excellence (CoE) and will be a critical member of this Leadership Team. The Global Digital Marketing & Digital Health CoE aims to leverage digital engagement opportunities to transform the way Pfizer interacts with HCPs and patients to improve health outcomes and patient experiences.
The Digital Marketing CoE team will be made up of individual specialist digital capability leads and a team of digital marketers responsible for global customer acquisition and engagement digital campaigns. The capability leads are subject matter experts in specific areas of digital marketing practice and each will define what World class digital marketing capability in their specialist area looks like and then build a roadmap for how we will evolve our digital marketing maturity in these areas over the coming years across the enterprise. They will define the technology, the content and the skills required for us to maximize success in engaging HCPs and patients with this capability. Projects will either aim to embed core digital capabilities in the wider organization, share areas of best practice and work with GCO to build infrastructure to scale to more brands or more countries or experiment with new digital capabilities or concepts aligned to our capability roadmaps.
The Digital Marketing team lead role will lead a team of Digital Marketing specialists responsible for supporting global brand teams and countries to transform the way they interact with their HCPs and patients. In partnership with the Pfizer Digital client partners who identify digital marketing opportunities with their brands they work on planning complex digital marketing campaigns and strategies to maximize brand success. They also work closely with the Digital Health Commercialization team on digital campaigns to drive impact of our digital products. This team leader also acts as the capability lead for online acquisition, building organizational capability to maximize our impact in search and display media. Colleagues within this team will also support the capability leads to execute the digital capability roadmaps across the enterprise. Critical to the success of all these initiatives is to adopt a new commercial mindset that is obsessed with making timely data led decisions. Working in partnership with the business analytics group who will develop the dashboards and tools that will pull this data together, this team will also be responsible for supporting marketing in developing this mindset so we can take the next step towards a more personalised customer centric sales and marketing approach.
+ Leads a diverse team of specialists responsible for supporting the enterprise to deliver complex, high impact digital marketing campaigns across our priority brands and countries and also to support the commercialization of our digital products. Providing expertise on channel and content strategy to maximize success. Prioritizing resource according to business needs and areas that will drive highest impact.
+ In partnership with the Pfizer Digital change management team, GCO and marketing excellence team produce a change management plan for marketing, sales and other cross functional colleagues to measure and support wider adoption in the 4 areas of core digital marketing capabilities; Customer facing Digital, Social Media Engagement, Marketing Automation & Personalization and the HCP Portal.
+ Gather external insight, coupled with knowledge of the business to build an enterprise search and display digital capability roadmap and then work closely with the GCO and extended Pfizer Digital team to execute
+ Global SME for the planning and measurement of our online experience working closely with other Pfizer digital groups to ensure all marketing colleagues have the tools and platforms they need to deliver high impact digital marketing campaigns.
+ When working with brand teams on exploratory digital programmes which are a Pfizer first or where there is no existing guidance, drive teams to leverage the International and US Digital review teams to accelerate nimble approvals whilst maintaining exemplary quality and compliance standards. Ensure all experiments have a robust measurement plan to support wide scale sharing.
+ Through leadership of the Global Digital Community drive the sharing of learnings (both those projects that nailed it and those that nearly made it) across brands and across countries to ensure we become a learning organization, overcoming silos and org designs to share widely.
+ Responsible for leadership of the Digital focused elements of the L&D curricula in partnership with the global commercial community and marketing excellence leads. Running the Core Digital Marketing courses and coordinating specialist courses with the capability leads.
+ Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and 10+ years of related pharmaceutical or healthcare experience required with significant experience working in digital marketing with an expert level of knowledge of digital media and how strategy planning influences it
+ Preferred Google certifications and Facebook blueprint qualifications
+ Solid knowledge of website analytics tools and website CRMs (Drupal, Wordpress etc)
+ Executive presence - ability to gain credibility with all levels of management; skills to craft and deliver presentations to, and obtain agreement from, senior management on recommendations/ideas/proposals.
+ Demonstrated ability to create and implement high impact strategic plans in a large, matrixed organization
+ Experience leading the execution of novel digital projects across complex geographies driving business and patient impact
+ Demonstrated business acumen and ability to stay abreast and incorporate industry and digital customer engagement trends into plans
+ Excellent communication skills and the ability to indirectly influence key partners and stakeholders
+ Demonstrated experience in anticipating, overseeing and influencing change that has a transformational impact on Pfizer Digital and the wider Business Units supported.
+ Previous experience line managing senior Pfizer colleagues and leading International virtual teams.
Position holder has to be able to work across global time zones with frequent travel (approximately 30%) to HQ and priority markets
Position holder can be located anywhere in Western Europe.
