This exciting post will lead governance inititatives within Paediatrics and Therapies, working with clinical teams to promote awareness, understanding and best practice in clinical governance. The post will also represent the Division/Cluster, where appropriate at Trust wide Governance meetings an support the Divisional management team and Cluster Managersin managing governance issues, agreeing priority areas for focus, risk management, evaluation, audit and improvement.
You will be pivotel in ensuring that rapid, thorough and accurate information cascade from Trust wide Governance meetings back to the Division/Cluster is completed and to assign actions to key team members, monitor and ensure they are completed within agreed timescales.
To fulfil this challenging post you will need to have excellent analytical skills with the ability to think and plan strategically. You will need to be a skilled communicator who has the ability to work with a wide range of people to influence change. We are looking for an enthusiastic, personable and committed individual who will drive the local and national clinical governance agenda in Specialist Services. You should have a flexible approach to work and must have the ability to work well in a team.
Hours: 30 hours per week (Substantive)
