Financial Controller

GreenwellGleeson are recruiting for a Financial Controller to work for a manufacturing business based in Worcester.

Ideal for candidates who are ACA/ACCA qualified and 2nd movers from practice - £60,000 - £62,000 per year

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Creation of monthly/annual reports to identify results, trends and financial forecasts
• Assist the Group account to produce monthly/annual reports
• Manage cash flow by tracking transactions & reviewing weekly reports
• Supervise & manage financial department staff, including clarifying roles & responsibilities
• Update & improve accounting systems whilst maintaining integrity of data
• Establish & implement financial reporting systems to comply with government legislation
• Implement & maintain financial controls
• Quarterly production of P&L, balance sheet & cash flow forecasts
• Produce monthly board pack for directors & PE house

Skills, Requirements, Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA
• Degree Qualified
• Minimum 3 years in industry
• Audit background
• UK GAAP knowledge
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Desire to drive change
• Desired, not essential - SAGE 200 knowledge, SQL report writing, tax knowledge
