This role offers a rare opportunity for a digital savvy and commercially aware individual with excellent people management skills to develop, roll out and manage a CRM (we use Salesforce) and Marketing Automation roadmap for the Unum business. One day you might be ensuring our CRM strategy is aligned to our sales and marketing plans, the next, driving the development of our product roadmap by incorporating relevant Salesforce innovations. Whatever the task, you'll do all you can to ensure we provide personalised customer journeys and best-in-class digital experiences that drive commercial results. You'll also bring leadership to a new team that's set to transform the way Unum products engage, acquire and interact with new and existing broker and client relations.
To succeed, you'll need a relevant qualification or equivalent industry experience, possibly gained in the financial services sector. Proven technical and functional experience of Salesforce, including a strong understanding of Salesforce/Pardot practices and developments (or other marketing automation tools) is important too, as is a track record of aligning marketing and sales with integrated marketing and automation. Adept at capturing business requirements, developing CRM strategies and gaining support from senior stakeholders, you're as comfortable thinking strategically as you are implementing tactical plans. What's more, your strong analytical and data-gathering background has given you the ability to use data to inform prospect journeys and demonstrate measurable KPIs aligned to business objectives.

The role is based in Dorking and once embedded, there's the possibility of working in our London office or remotely for part of the week.
