Are you driven to get the best out of your team and take pride in providing a high quality service? We are looking to invest in a new Team Manager to keep the call centre /sales team running at its most efficient.

This role will be responsible for day-to-day management of team members, ensuring we consistently reach Company, team and individual objectives.

Your Role:

  • You will lead, coach and motivate a team of sales agents within the call centre to ensure performance targets are achieved and to develop the team to reach their full potential.
  • Enthusiastically build, improve and maximise existing and new relationships whilst developing and growing your specialist knowledge.
  • Provide a compliant and first class service, to guarantee an excellent customer experience. Have a high level of empathy and engagement to gain trust from both clients and team members.
  • You will ensure service level agreements are met through proactive shift planning and recommend controls to prevent any customer complaints.
  • With your experience of mentoring others, you will build a flexible, committed team of multi skilled advisors, achieve important metrics and resolve any matters as they arise.

Your Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Have you achieved or are you working towards one of the Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications? Dip CII or FIT is desirable with a deep knowledge of the insurance industry and market. It would be excellent if you have a Call Centre/Customer Service/Sales NVQ Level 3.
  • You're a professional when it comes to influencing those around you. You have excellent listening skills, strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • The team actively deals with ambiguity and have outstanding accuracy and attention to detail. We would love for you to take initiative and a hardworking approach.
  • You perform well under pressure, have superb analytical skills and solve problems by developing workable solutions. We know that collaboration is important to you, as is a developing workforce; we want you to keep your teams' skills fresh and innovative by inspiring and leading from the front.
  • You are eligible to work in the UK.
