We are seeking experienced and non experienced Waking Nights Support Workers (20 hours per week) for our home in Shrewsbury.


In this service MacIntyre supports three men aged from mid 40's to 50's. Two of which are wheelchair users and needs support to be hoisted; One is also deaf so he uses a mixture of signing. These men just love to have fun, banter and a laugh in general. They need fun loving, outgoing staff with a bubbly personality, who are also good at listening and watching body language to see if you are doing things right.

Because our gentelman have very busy days full of activities, laughter and banter, they mainly require a presence of an evening to help ensure they are settled and happy. This may include also being there as an emotional reassurance for them throughout the night.

You'll take your turn working shifts on a rota, including nights, weekends & bank holidays.

6.6 weeks (including statutory public holidays) rising with service to a maximum of 7.6 weeks (including statutory public holidays) after 5 years (pro rata for part time staff).
