We are looking to recruit a Medical Receptionist to join our team at the practice.
As our receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our service. Our receptionist’s duties include offering administrative support across all staff. You will welcome patients and greet people who visit the practice. You will undertake front-desk activities, answer incoming calls from patients wishing to book an appointment and be responsible for allocating appropriate patient appointments. Your duties will include distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.
To be successful as our receptionist, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is a customer service role. You should also be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. This role will require working in shifts, so flexibility is a plus.
Ultimately, our receptionist’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes patients positively, and carries out all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.
Previous medical reception experience in a busy practice would be ideal.
Sound knowledge of IT systems
Excellent communication skills
Be willing to work flexibly
