We are seeking Support Workers for our new service in Northenden, Manchester assisting our 23 year old gentleman.

We’re seeking fun loving, caring and passionate Support Workers to help support our gentleman to live as independently as possible whilst providing the care and attention he needs to live a life that that makes sense to him.
You will be actively involved in a wide range of activities including walking/running, trips away, arts and crafts, chilling in the garden or summerhouse through to the everyday living needs. There will be some personal care involved which will entail; helping with shaving, hair care, oral care, washing, picking out clothing and helping to fasten buttons etc.
Our gentleman is a healthy, strong and very phsyically able young man however, behaviours of concern can be displayed due to sensory issues (predominantly from sounds and noises which can trigger anxiety) but we will provide you with all the training and support you'll need to be able to react quickly should such situation arise.
Firstly, you don’t need experience to become a Support Worker but it’s not easy. The work can be demanding and challenging at times but no 2 days are the same and the reward of seeing YOUR personal impact is incredibly inspiring and it’s something you’ll never forget.
As long as you have the passion and drive to want to make a real difference, we’ll teach you the rest. With your key attributes and our training, together we can deliver the best possible support.
You will need a full manual drivers licence and be aged 21 or over and have at least 12 months driving experience (for insurance purposes) to be able to drive the companys mobility car.
