£33,797 to £40,322 per annum
This Senior Research Associate role is to enable an experienced researcher to develop a programme of applied research in the East of England on workforce and workplace wellbeing. The post will join the Mental Health Across the Life Course theme of the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration East of England (ARC EoE), led by Professor Jesus Perez (University of Cambridge & Cambridge Peterborough Foundation Trust) with Professor Kristy Sanderson (UEA) as Deputy Theme Lead.
The Theme has three focus areas, one of which is promoting the wellbeing of health and social care staff to improve patient and client outcomes and improving the wellbeing of job seekers and people who are unemployed.
• lead a personal programme of research in the wellbeing of the health and social care workforce• develop and support grant applications for further research funding • support development and maintenance of a network of health and social care organisations interested in staff wellbeing research
You will need to have a postgraduate research orientated qualification (e.g. PhD or MSc) or equivalent experience, with a good first degree and evidence of training in appropriate research methods e.g. by completion of a Masters programme and/or work-related experience.
The post is available immediately on a full-time, fixed term basis to 30 September 2022.
