A-Level Chemistry Tutor (Female)

Lady Khadijah ra ALevel Tuition Centre for Girls requires an Alevel Chemistry Tutor to assist ALevel students as they work through questions.The position is parttime during the weekends starting from January 2020. The class timings are to 11am each day but can be adjusted to suit your circumstances prior to starting. No lesson planning marking or behaviour management is required.The duties of the tutor will be to assist a group of about 15 students as they work through a topicbased question book or past paper with answers available for students to check themselves. Students are fully expected to be mature and hardworking.LKAT is exclusively for female students and has an Islamic ethos. The ideal tutor will also be a good role model of Islamic principles such as good character truthfulness and modesty in dress.This tutor position is temporary and advertised on a selfemployment basis. As such there is no sick payholiday pay but payment only for actual hours worked.RequirementsExcellent knowledge of Alevel ChemistryAn ability to explain complex topics in an easytounderstand wayAn A grade or above in Alevel Chemistry or alternatively 2 years tutoringteaching experience of the subject at AS or A2 level.Undergraduates or retired teachers welcome.
