We are looking for a confident, motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to support partners, directors and managers in the delivery of external audit services to a range of commercial, charity and public sector organisations. The candidate can be based in either Glasgow or Edinburgh City Centre.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a skilled multi-tasker, reliable and committed to consistently meeting strict deadlines.

Experience, Skills and Knowledge requiredRecent external audit experience within a commercial, charity or public sector environment. Experience of auditing financial statements prepared in accordance with either FRS 102 or International Financial Reporting Standards. Professional accountancy qualification. Ability to work on own initiative. Effective teamworking skills. Experience of supervising junior audit staff. Effective planning and organising skills to ensure that the varied workload is managed effectively. Technically proficient Good communication skills and the ability to engage at all levels. Excellent report writing skills, ability to present written reports to a high standard. IT literate; good knowledge of Microsoft Office. Self-motivated.
