Once you've signed up a client to an SLA, they tend to stick with us because they love the service they receive. That's backed up by how happy they are to provide references, and refer us to others in their network. You'll also join a team with a proven and structured process with marketing resources to hand. You'll also be joining the 2018 and 2019 Swale Employer of the Year.

You’ll target hedge funds, alternate investment and private equity firms in London with the aim to meet with their IT Managers, IT Directors, CTOs, CFOs and CEOs to sell our managed IT services to them. You'll manage the full sales cycle, which takes around 3-6 months and is a consultative process. You’ll be calling prospects from a data list provided by us, setting up meetings, attending those meetings with technical staff, negotiating proposals, and closing the sale. There is no account management in this role at all, as we feel it distracts from your ability to seek and sign new clients. On the first day of service, you'll hand over to the Account Manager and Projects team.

We are seeking somebody with a track record of hunter type sales positions. We aren't selective around the industry experience you have, but instead would like to see a proven track record of dealing with a combination of:

  • prospecting
  • demos/virtual meetings
  • face to face meetings
  • creating and presenting proposals
  • negotiating price and terms
  • closing the sale

You’ll have a direct style, be persistent and engaging during the sales process, and consult and influence the prospect during their decision-making. There will also be a senior sales consultant available to attend meetings with you and guide you through the process. We will teach you the technical side, and are seeking the right mindset in you.

The office you’ll be based at is our head offices in Borden, a village between Sittingbourne and Maidstone in Kent. We are accessible easily from the M2 and based suitably far away from the Sittingbourne rush hour traffic – making your commute easier. However there will be a requirement to meet with potential clients in London and work out of our office in Mayfair a few days a week.
