Superb and genuine career opportunity for a driven and ambitious Management Accountant - the role reports to the Head of Finance. The role will includes team management duties.
Managing the month end accounts process to ensure dashboards are accurate and completed to deadline. Reviewing all journals, reconciliations and accounts prepared by three assistant company accountants Managing intercompany and transfer pricing journals and producing monthly intercompany payment schedules. Managing the purchase ledger process, reviewing all payments and weekly reports produced by the assistant company accountants to ensure suppliers are paid. Reviewing the work of the finance assistants to ensure all claims and recoveries are reconciled on a monthly basis. Responsibility for regulatory reporting including VAT. Recording investments on a monthly basis and producing a year end reconciliation for all investments in all companies. Reconciling large volumes of data to ensure that all have been allocated correctly. Liaising with the external auditors, ensuring all information is available for the year end audit and dealing with all queries Responsibility for producing the statutory accounts for the two service companies and assisting with the remaining four companies.
Previous / similar experience. Excellent communication skills. Problem solving and solutions driven. Strong computer skills especially Excel.
