A great generic TNO opportunity to support our customers
We are looking for a Tenancy and Neighbourhood Officer to provide an excellent generic front-line tenancy management service to our customers, across a patch of approximately 600 properties within a localised area.
As part of this role you will actively manage customer rent accounts to ensure income is received on time. This will involve taking action to address arrears including legal proceedings and attending court as required, to ensure rental income is maximised for the organisation.
You will be required to carry out regular tenancy visits to homes to verify household occupancy details, responding to changes in circumstances as required to support tenancy sustainment while complying with Home England regulations and ensuring effective use of the organisations stock. You will support customers by addressing and resolving incidents including the investigation and management of Anti Social Behaviour.
This role also involves identifying and investigating cases of potential tenancy fraud and liaising with partner agencies.

You will have experience of working in the housing sector, preferably in a front-line or customer service role and you must have experience of maximising income collection and arrears management. You will also be able to effectively represent the organisation at county court and to external partners. It is essential you are solutions focused with strong negotiation skills to successfully resolve complex housing cases.
