Crisis Point is an open access mental health crisis service that offers crisis management support, helping people with diverse support needs to resolve their current crisis and develop plans to prevent or better manage future crises.
As part of our Manchester crisis intervention service, you'll work one-to-one with service users, working to their support plans and offering plenty of informal support. You'll need to love talking to people with different needs, be interested in helping them and possess a deep level of empathy, understanding and patience.
We're looking for a Bank Support Worker who knows how to build close relationships and gain people's trust quickly. You don’t need any formal qualifications as full training will be given, although NVQ in Social Care would be a big advantage. What is essential is that you have at least 12 months proven experience in a similar role along with a good awareness of mental health problems and can bring with you the flexibility to work in across a shift pattern, including evenings and weekends.
