Orbis Energy Limited is a London based consultancy providing environmental, health and safety (EHS) services to clients working in the energy industry. In particular, we specialise in supporting offshore oil and gas activities through all lifecycle stages from licence award through to decommissioning. Orbis is a small consultancy and our office is based in Covent Garden. In order to fulfil future workloads and growth plans, Orbis is looking to recruit either a Graduate Consultant or a Consultant. Note, the Consultant position is a permeant role, but the Graduate Consultant position would initially be on a 6 month contract, although there is the potential for this to be extended or developed into a permanent role.
Candidates should be enthusiastic, self-motivated and keen to be part of the development of a dynamic and growing business. As a minimum, candidates must hold a Bachelors (essential) and Masters Degree (desirable) in marine science, or a related discipline and have at least a basic knowledge of ArcGIS. In addition, candidates applying for the Consultant position must have at least one year of relevant EHS consultancy experience, preferably in the UKCS oil and gas sector.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:

- Excellent written and verbal communication, organisational, analytical and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail at all times
- Enthusiasm for building knowledge and skills
The salary for either role is negotiable and we offer a benefits package which includes a contributory pension scheme, in addition to flexible working.
