We have an SEN school in York looking for Teaching Assistants/Learning Support Assistants to start after the summer holidays. As a TA/LSA you will be required to work 1:1 or on a group basis with pupils with special educational needs, you will confidently and patiently adapt to each students needs. You may support students with:

* Autism
* ADHD
* Challenging behaviour
* Sensory impairments
* MLD, SLD or PMLD
* SEMH difficulties
* Physical disabilities

You will possess the needed qualifications and it is desirable to hold experience working as a Teaching Assistant or have experience managing special educational needs within a different setting. Successful candidates must be vetted with a 'Child Only' DBS check which must be registered on the update service (assistance will be provided by Teaching personnel).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.This will be a temporary position and may go permanent at a later date.
