Beamont Collegiate Academy is a vibrant and dynamic school community with a strong emphasis on high expectations and aspirations. The academy is part of the Challenge Academy Trust (TCAT) and is popular and oversubscribed and was judged ‘good’ by Ofsted in June 2017. We also moved into a brand new £12million building in 2017 with state of the art facilities.
We seek to appoint a highly motivated and inspirational leader of Technology and Engineering who will be able to demonstrate a commitment to improving pupil outcomes across the department.
This position would be suited to an outstanding teacher of Technology/Engineering with some leadership experience and a track record of good results teaching a range of Key Stage engineering qualifications including technical and vocational. You will be joining a sector leading STEM facility with access to a wealth of equipment and expertise both within the educational sphere but also the STEM industries who partner us in many exciting projects. Our new STEM Centre leads best practice in the North across digital creativity, manufacturing, engineering and computing. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to be part of and lead on the next stage of genuinely first class STEM education provided across the school, multi-academy trust and wider region.
