Would you like to join a fantastic, dedicated team of Teaching Assistants at Woodlands Primary School in Tonbridge? We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant to join us.
The role will be working on a 1:1 basis with assigned pupils within Year 4. It will entail supporting learners both in and out of class. Experience in supporting learners with Autism Spectrum Condition and the associated behaviours is essential. The successful candidate will have experience with having used those resources which are recognised as having an effective impact for pupils with ASC.
The position is almost full time 32.5 hours per week, 8:30 to 3:30 daily Monday to Friday. The salary is KR3 £17,365 FTE and you will receive a pro rata of this figure. Grade C in both Maths and English together with previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in the Primary sector is a minimum requirement. The successful applicant will be subject to a fully enhanced DBS check.

Woodlands Primary School was formed in September 2016 following the amalgamation of Woodlands Infant and Woodlands Junior Schools. We are a successful and happy school in North Tonbridge. Currently we have 646 pupils on roll organised into three classes per year group across two buildings, Acorn (KS1) and Oak (KS2). An excellent local reputation for both the Infant and Junior schools has been built up over many years. Our enthusiastic and dedicated staff work strongly together to provide exciting learning experiences for the children both inside and outside the classroom.
