The Cost and Contracts Manager will provide the lead commercial role in the delivery of a wide range of capital infrastructure projects in Stirling Council. Working in the small and busy Capital Project Delivery team, the successful candidate will provide professional costing and construction contract management services to support the delivery of the Council's ambitious capital programme and City Region Deal.
The vacancy will suit an experienced, qualified quantity surveyor who has been Chartered for a minimum of 5 years and has had lead commercial role in the delivery of high value, complex infrastructure projects within a local government context.
The Cost and Contracts Manager will have excellent technical skills but will also be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written, and able to work under pressure to meet challenging timescales and deliver planned outcomes.
