Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a motivated Divisional Director for the newly formed Clinical Support & Specialist Services Division.

You will be educated to master’s degree level or equivalent and hold a management qualification - or have equivalent experience working at a senior level. This is a strategically important post and you must be able to demonstrate problem solving skills as well as the ability to interpret and analyse complex policy and data. You will use your highly developed interpersonal, communication and people skills to work with a range of staff across the Trust and other related organisations. The post holder will be expected to work as part of a committed multidisciplinary team across the wider system, liaising with regulators, commissioners and other members of the Devon STP network to ensure the delivery of the highest standards of patient care.

The successful candidate will be given a high degree of autonomy, opportunities to develop and all of the support needed to excel in this exciting role.

The Trust is currently in a collaborative agreement with the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust, which provides fantastic opportunities to work in collaboration with senior leaders within a large teaching hospital to deliver exceptional patient care and services across Devon.

Our teams of care professionals work with patients and their families to support peoples’ independence, health and wellbeing. We provide support to avoid hospital admissions, and if an admission is necessary, we try to make each patient’s stay in hospital as short and effective as possible before working with them on a safe discharge home.
