Master Data Administrator - SAP (6 months contract)

About the role:
This is a brand new role within a fast moving, developing department and a vital support role for the current Process Leader. We are looking for an individual to join our team as a Vendor Master Data Administrator for a 6 month contract. This is a great opportunity to give you an insight into how our Vendor Data Management team operates.
As a team we have an impact on the entire Press globally, collaborating with most departments; locally and globally; including royalties, compliance, procurement, legal & editorial.
Key accountabilities will include:
Assist with the creation & maintenance of vendor records in SAP Assist with the daily data processing through Cignon & paper vendor creation forms, ensuring they are accurate and completed in a timely manner. Handle queries from the wider business relating to vendor data, and queries from suppliers and its prompt set up; whilst pro-actively looking for way to reduce query volumes Sustain good working practices and sound processes, in order to maintain the efficiency of the team.
To be successful in this role it is crucial that you are well organised, able to prioritise and have good time management, as well as having a basic understanding of The Press. You will be able to work with the team in the UK and Manila, and also work autonomously, whilst bringing out the best in yourself and others.
You will have a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook and Teams, as well as holding SAP experience. Previous experience in process and system writing and compliance processing is also crucial for this role, as well as a proven knowledge of data governance and legal requirements.
