We are looking for an ambitious, talented and enthusiastic Buying Assistant who is looking for a new challenge working in an incredibly fast paced & rewarding environment where never one day is the same. This is an exciting role for a self-motivator who is enthusiastic and keen to kickstart their career within buying.
By Working closely with the Category Product Manager, you will support in the new product set up, its entry into the supply chain, price negotiation with suppliers and general buying team duties. You will need to demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to work well in a demanding retail environment. You will need bags of confidence, natural curiosity and trust in your own ability. You will also need to be a good communicator, maintaining and building relationships with suppliers and colleagues. Strong mathematical ability is essential as this role will require you to analyse sales figures and trends spotting commercial opportunities and trends.
